Meet Mrs. Natalie Todd

Assistant Teacher

Welcome to Marshall Academy! I am Natalie Todd, and it is a joy to serve as an Assistant Teacher within our school family. My background in both healthcare and community service has taught me the value of patience, care, and the importance of supporting every individual—qualities I am proud to bring to our classrooms every day.

My Background and Experience

My educational journey began with my high school diploma, followed by an Associate Degree in Art and Science. I also hold a degree in Nursing, which provided me with a strong foundation in helping others.

Before finding my place in education, I gained diverse professional experience:

• Healthcare: I have worked in various medical settings, including general surgery, an anticoagulation clinic, and family practice.
• Business Management: I previously managed local coffee shops and a tanning salon.
• Marshall Academy: My commitment to MA started in our daycare and cafeteria, and I am thrilled to now be supporting our students and faculty as a Teacher Assistant.

My Educational Vision

I believe in a school environment that is supportive, encouraging, and rooted in community. My goal is to work alongside our lead teachers to ensure every student feels seen and encouraged to reach their absolute highest potential. I want every child to feel that they are in a safe, family-like environment where they are free to grow.

My Life Outside of School

Family and animals are at the very heart of my life. I am a proud mother of two: I enjoy spending my time watching Gage play baseball, while my son Connor is away bravely serving our country.

My household and free time are filled with my love for animals and the outdoors:

• Animal Welfare: I dedicate time to working with dogs at Abandoned to Adored.
• Equestrian Life: I am an avid horseback rider and love spending time with my horse.
• Home Life: I find great joy in gardening and hanging out with my five sweet dogs.
• Family: Above all, I cherish every moment spent with my family.
