Meet Mr. Bradley Palmer

I am Bradley Palmer, and it is a privilege to serve as your Head of the Social Science Department and Assistant Athletic Director. My journey at Marshall Academy began in 2021, and I am honored to contribute to our school community.

My Background and Experience

Education and mentorship are at the heart of what I do. I graduated from Blue Mountain Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education and a second B.S. in History and Psychology. To further my ability to support our students, I am currently completing a Master’s degree in K-12 Reading and Literacy.

In addition to my work at Marshall Academy, I have served as a Resident Manager at Blue Mountain Christian University since 2018. At MA, I also have the pleasure of serving as the FCA Sponsor, Senior Sponsor, and Chapel Coordinator. These roles allow me to witness our students grow in character and teamwork every day.

My Educational Vision

Whether in the social studies classroom or on the athletic field, my ultimate goal is to see every student reach their absolute highest potential. I believe in fostering an environment rooted in community and faith—one that feels like a family. I want every student to feel encouraged to grow academically, personally, and spiritually.

My Life Outside of School

Faith and family are the center of my life. I am a Son of God, a husband to Deanna, and a father to four wonderful children: Haley, Will, Zoe, and Rylee. I am also the proud "BB" to my three grandgirls, Ainsley, Remington, and Kassidy.

My wife, Zoe, Rylee, and I attend Hillcrest Baptist Church in New Albany, where I serve as an assistant teacher for the Men’s class and on various committees.

When I am not at a Marshall Academy sporting event, you can usually find me:

  • Supporting Blue Mountain Christian University or Mississippi State University sports.
  • Serving as Vice President for the North Mississippi Knife Collectors (I have a particular love for Case XX knives).
  • Enjoying "the hunt" while antiquing, thrifting, or visiting estate sales.
  • Indulging as a "Little Dooey Connoisseur."
  • Most importantly, spending quality time with my family.

Contact Me

My door is always open to students, parents, and faculty. If you have any questions or if there is ever anything I can do to support your family’s experience at Marshall Academy, please do not hesitate to reach out through the school office.
