Meet Mrs. Ali Todd

Hello! My name is Ali Todd. I am so excited to be in my 4th year of teaching here at Marshall Academy, where I currently teach Junior High and Senior English!

My Education and Experience

I grew up just across the state line in Germantown, Tennessee, but I have proudly called Holly Springs home for the past 20 years. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Memphis.

My Teaching Philosophy

Having been a part of the Patriot family for 13 years as a parent, there is no other place we would have chosen for our son’s education. In fact, my husband will say it is one of the best decisions we have ever made. I like to call MA “the little school that could,” because through it all, we always rise above! As a teacher, I absolutely love being a part of my students' everyday lives and watching them grow and thrive in this special environment.

My Life Outside of School

My family bleeds red and blue—not only for the Patriots but also for the Ole Miss Rebels! My husband, Lee, and I have been married for 20 wonderful years. We have one son, Kyler, who is a sophomore here at MA. He has attended Marshall Academy since 3K, and you will not find anyone who loves this school more than he does. Our home is also filled with three energetic fur babies who keep us on our toes: a black lab named Tilly and two schnauzers named Hemi and Wrigley!

We are a very active sports family. In our free time, you can almost always find us at a field, happily following Kyler around and cheering him on as he plays baseball and football!
