Whether you are sinking a clutch three-pointer or cheering alongside the student section, basketball season brings an electrifying energy to our campus that you simply have to experience.

 

About Our Program Marshall Academy is incredibly proud to offer both Varsity and Junior Varsity (JV) basketball programs for our student-athletes. Our program is built on a foundation of hard work, discipline, and a deep love for the game. From our JV players honing their fundamental skills and learning the speed of high school play, to our Varsity athletes competing at the highest level, every Patriot on the court is pushed to reach their absolute best.

 

Our Philosophy Under the guidance of our dedicated coaching staff, the MA basketball program is about much more than just winning games. We strive to build young men and women of character. Our core program goals include:

  • Skill Development: Mastering the fundamentals of shooting, passing, defense, and overall court awareness.

  • Team Cohesion: Teaching athletes how to communicate effectively, trust their teammates, and operate as a unified, unselfish unit on the floor.

  • Resilience & Hustle: Building the physical conditioning and mental toughness required to give 100% effort from the opening tip-off to the final buzzer.

  • Character & Sportsmanship: Ensuring our players represent Marshall Academy with integrity, class, and respect for their opponents and officials.

The Home-Court Advantage Game nights in the MA gymnasium are a true community event!
