The Marshall Academy PTO is inviting community members, sportsmen, and supporters of Patriot Pride to participate in its Second Annual Clay Shooting Tournament on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at The Sporting Club at Mallard's Croft in Byhalia.
The tournament will feature a 4-person team competition with check-in beginning at 1:00 p.m. and a 2:00 p.m. shotgun start. Team registration is $500 per team, and each team must include at least one adult age 21 or older.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own side-by-side vehicle or golf cart, although rentals will be available for an additional fee. Shooters may bring their own ammunition or purchase shells at the event. Only 12- and 20-gauge shells will be permitted.
The course will consist of one flight with 15 stations, providing each participant with 100 shots, not including mulligans. Following the competition, participants and guests will enjoy a dinner and awards ceremony.
In addition to team registrations, the PTO is offering sponsorship opportunities for businesses and individuals who would like to support Marshall Academy while gaining visibility at the event.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit Marshall Academy students and programs. PTO organizers hope the event will once again bring together families, alumni, and community members for an afternoon of friendly competition and fellowship while supporting the school's mission.
